Hello everybody,

They’ve been married for 22 years and it looks like there’s still a whole heap of romance between acting legend Hugh Jackman and his stylish wife Deborra-Lee Furness. The loved-up duo put on a cosy display in matching monochrome ensembles as they attended the US Open on Monday. Hugh posted an adorable snap from the event, with the caption: “Date night with @Deborra_lee at the @usopen #nothingbetter.” Deborra stunned next to her hunky husband in a loose black shirt and long white shorts, adding a simple straw hat on top of her swept back blonde hair. Fans were quick to comment, with one writing: “I love that you two are always smiling… blessings to you both.” Another added: “You guys are so beautiful together.” And a third wrote: “That’s so sweet that you guys still date.”

New Article: Montblanc ambassador Hugh Jackman reveals what time means to him

Hello everybody,

You know how sometimes you meet celebrities in real life and they’re not quite what you expect? Hugh Jackman however, really is as charming as he is on-screen. The 49-year-old Australian actor was at the Salon Internationale Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva earlier this year in his role as global brand ambassador for luxury lifestyle brand, Montblanc.

"“It’s a meaningful relationship. It always has this one eye on the past and a very bright eye on the future. I am a lover of history and I love what the past can bring – expertise, experience, craftsmanship, culture, mission, but you have to keep evolving, creating and I think Montblanc certainly does it beautifully. And this collection is such a great example, it’s got the vintage aesthetic but is looking to the future,” Jackman said of the Montblanc 1858 collection.

“I love the Geosphere, I love the pocket watch, I think there’re only 16 of them made, most of them sold. The Chronograph is beautiful, there’s something about it that feels timeless. With Montblanc, it’s bringing back this great craftsmanship and great traditions and it’s an extraordinary sort of art and people say you get the time on your phone, who needs a watch? But when you truly appreciate craftsmanship, you appreciate the art that goes into it.”

He might not be The Wolverine anymore, but Hugh Jackman proves that he still has super hero abs! Much to the enjoyment of female onlookers, the Hollywood heartthrob showed off his buff beach bod as he took a dip in the surf at Sydney’s Bondi Beach. After braving the chilly water temperatures, a topless Hugh was spotted leaving the surf in a pair of grey board shorts, before heading to the showers where he washed of the salt water.

New Article: Exclusive Radio star fesses up to splurging on Hugh Jackman's credit

Hello everybody,

Triple M star Gus Worland has been mates with Hugh Jackman since they went to school together. So he was thrilled to be working on a TV show with the mega star a little over a decade ago. But things took a turn for the worse after the show wrapped, and Jackman offered to pay for a night out. Worland has detailed the messy night in his new book The Bloke-A-Saurus, a collection of jokes and anecdotes, written to raise money to support men's mental health.

"In 2007 I was in Mumbai, India, having just finished shooting a reality television show. The production had been long and arduous, the crew had worked their rings off in, at times, very trying conditions, and we'd all been away from our families and friends in Australia for over three months.

I rang the executive producer, Jacko, who was also an old mate, and told him we'd finished the shoot on time and under budget, and I believed we had the makings of a cracking series. He concurred. Back in Sydney he'd seen all of the footage we'd shot and thought it was a winner.

So, to thank everyone for all the effort they'd put in, I proposed that the executive producer take the crew out for a nosh-up that evening at a nice restaurant. It'd be the perfect way to say goodbye to everyone before we went our separate ways the following day. Including all the Aussie and Indian crew, there'd be about 25 people invited."

Project Updates: Exclusive The Astonishing Success of The Greatest Showman

Posted on 04 Aug 2018 by Admin
Projects icon

Hello everybody,

The hottest box-office story in Hollywood right now isn’t Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which made more than $600 million in the U.S. and became the sixth biggest hit in movie history. It isn’t the surprising success of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, an unambiguous smash that has cemented the star power of Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart.

No, the most interesting film in last weekend’s returns was The Greatest Showman—the family-friendly original musical about P.T. Barnum starring Hugh Jackman that has now made $113 million in five weekends. It was a risky proposition of a movie that got mediocre reviews and initially generated little excitement from audiences. Now, it’s one of the largest word-of-mouth hits in Hollywood history. So what happened?

When The Greatest Showman opened in theaters on December 20, it looked dead on arrival, making only $8.8 million that weekend. But the following weekend it made $15 million, almost twice as much. That’s largely unheard of in contemporary Hollywood, where big studios films are front-loaded (opened on a massive number of screens) and the first weekend is king. The holiday season does offer a little more breathing room for movies as families have the downtime to go to the theater, but even by those standards—by any standards for a wide release, in fact—The Greatest Showman is unique.

New Article: Compilation Shows How Hugh Jackman's Wolverine Changed Over The Years

Posted on 02 Aug 2018 by Admin

Hello everybody,

I never really thought of it until now, but Hugh Jackman is the Christopher Reeves of the modern era. I really only mean that in the sense that he did a lot of superhero films as one character, and it's going to be really hard to replace him now that he's gone. I didn't really think too hard about that before now, until it sank in just how long Jackman did Wolverine during his career. See for yourself below, and check out how much different Jackman looks from his first appearance in X-Men to his final appearance in Logan. So much differences!
