New Article: Watch Hugh Jackman Light Up When Overhearing The Greatest Showman Soundtrack!

Posted on 11 Jul 2018 by Admin

Hello everybody,

Even now, months after release, it seems that lots of people still can't get enough of the music from Hugh Jackman's The Greatest Showman. As it turns out, that's fine with him. Recently, Jackman took to Twitter as he had a fun interaction with his own music. He was simply walking down a stairwell when he heard his own voice blasting from a nearby room. Unfortunately, the occupant has no idea how close they came to meeting the man behind the song they were listening to. Check it out.

"It appears that Hugh Jackman is walking down a stairwell in a hotel or apartment building when he hears the song "A Million Dreams" coming from the door to the floor as he passes it. Clearly, this person is enjoying their music, as Jackman must be hearing the song through a pair of doors. He jokes in his Twitter video about knocking on the door but decides that it would inappropriate, and while that might technically be true, I have a feeling this person would not have had a problem with opening their hotel room door to find Hugh Jackman telling them he likes their taste in music.

The Greatest Showman, Hugh Jackman's musical inspired by the life of P.T. Barnum, has had a remarkable life for a movie that was never number one at the box office. It grossed over $430 million globally and hung around the top 10 for months, eventually becoming the third highest grossing domestic musical of all time, behind perennial favorite Grease and the blockbuster remake of Beauty and the Beast.

This isn't the only time, even recently, when The Greatest Showman has invaded Hugh Jackman's personal life. Just days ago, the actor was out to eat with his Showman co-star Keala Settle when a pair of songs from the film began to play in the restaurant. According to reports, Jackman and his party began to sing along, giving the assembled diners a little impromptu concert.

The song in question, "A Million Dreams" is an early song in the film which works as a montage. It starts with Jackman's Barnum as a boy trying to find his way in the world and follows him as he grows into the adult actor. Give it a listen below."

Gallery Updates: Hugh Jackman Beams Overhearing Someone Listening to 'Greatest Showman' Song

Hello everybody,

The actor was tempted to knock on the door when he heard 'A Million Dreams' blaring. Hugh Jackman was all smiles Monday morning when he overheard someone playing "A Million Dreams" from his hit musical The Greatest Showman. It is unclear exactly where he was, but the actor was so pleased that he almost knocked on their door.

"Kind of weird when you're walking down a stairwell and you're tempted to knock on someone's door and say that's my song," Jackman said in a video he posted on social media. "Don't worry I'm not going to do it!"

He labeled the video "A million dreams..."

Whoever was listening to it must have really been into the song, because it is clearly audible from the hall Jackman is in while he appears to be heading out for a bike ride.

Jackman played P.T. Barnum in the 2017 hit that also starred Michelle Williams, Zac Efron and Rebecca Ferguson.

The film, the song "This Is Me" and Jackman were all nominated for Golden Globes. "This Is Me" won the Golden Globe for the best original song - motion picture and also was nominated for a best original song Oscar. "

Project Updates: ‘The Greatest Showman’ Soundtrack Makes Jackman The Best-Selling Singer Of 2018 So Far!

Posted on 08 Jul 2018 by Admin
Projects icon

Hello everybody,

Step aside Justin Timberlake and Kanye West because Hugh Jackman is here to take his rightful place upon the music throne. Despite 2018 seeing some of the biggest artists in music releasing new albums, including Cardi B and Taylor Swift, the best selling album of the year so far belongs to the soundtrack of “The Greatest Showman,” the movie about P. T. Barnum and his creation of the Barnum & Bailey Circus.

"According to Bloomberg Business, the soundtrack has sold close to 4 million copies worldwide, outselling the next most popular album, Post Malone’s Beerbongs & Bentleys, by about 2-to-1.

The record has also racked up an impressive amount of streams across multiple platforms, with the track “The Greatest Show” currently sitting at over 100 million streams on Spotify.

“The Greatest Showman,” which stars the likes of Jackman, Michelle Williams, Zendaya and Zac Efron, was met with mediocre reviews upon release and never led the box office. However, the movie quickly gained a cult-like status, mostly due to its catchy soundtrack.

According to Warner Music, The Greatest Showman has become the best selling soundtrack since “Frozen’’ in 2014.

The record has also enjoyed immense success overseas, spending 23 weeks among the top five albums in the UK, surpassing the record set by Adele’s “21” for the longest chart run in at least three decades. The soundtrack has also been certified platinum in over 10 countries, including Singapore, Australia and South Korea.

With Drake’s new album Scorpion breaking streaming records, it’s probably not long before it overtakes The Greatest Showman as the year’s best selling album, but for now, Jackman and co are on top."

New Article: Hugh Jackman Surprises Fans By Singing Greatest Showman In The Middle Of A Restaurant

Posted on 08 Jul 2018 by Admin
Hugh icon

Hello everybody,

The Greatest Showman quietly became a pretty significant hit last year that saw its music nominated for awards. Apparently, some Los Angeles area diners were recently reminded why by Hugh Jackman himself. It seems that on the 4th of July, Jackman was eating in a restaurant when a pair of songs from the movie musical began to be played, so Jackman and his party did what you'd expect them to do, they began to sing along, to the delight of the other assembled diners.

"According to Page Six, the impromptu concert took place at Tao in Los Angeles where Hugh Jackman was sharing a meal with his Greatest Showman costar Keala Settle and Australian TV personality Gus Worland when the songs "This is Me" and "From Now On" were played inside the restaurant. Since musicals are all about people breaking into song randomly in the middle of public places, it's only fitting that Jackman and Settle broke out into song in the middle of a bunch of strangers.

If I'm being honest, this whole thing sounds a little suspicious. The fact that a pair of songs from The Greatest Showman began to play in a restaurant while two of the stars were eating there is awfully coincidental. One song happening to pop on the speaker system would be one thing, but with two playing, one wonders if some of the staff was trying to make something happen at that table. If so, it worked. Also, I wish I'd been there.

The Greatest Showman never found first place at the box office, but it remained in the top ten from the weekend it opened in December until March of this year, slowly collecting millions. It finished its box office run with a global take of $434 million, which is huge for a movie that reportedly cost less than $100 million to make. It's 2018 domestic take is enough to still make it actually the tenth highest grossing movie of this year.

The song "This is Me" was the breakout hit of the film. Performed by Keala Settle, the song was nominated for an Academy Award. While the song didn't win the award, the performance at the ceremony was by far the showstopping moment of the night."

New Article: Hugh Jackman and Arnold Schwarzenegger Teamed Up for a 4th of July Workout

Posted on 07 Jul 2018 by Admin

Hello everybody,

The 4th of July is a day out of the office to celebrate American independence — but serious fitness buffs never actually take a training day off from work.

"Hugh Jackman took the holiday as an opportunity to hit up one of the most iconic gyms in the world, Gold's Gym in Venice, California, for a celebratory morning sweat session. But he wasn't the only notable person putting in some work in for the Red, White, and Blue: Arnold Schwarzenegger, one of the stars who made the gym's original Venice location "The Mecca of Bodybuilding" back in the 1970s, also dropped in for a lift.

"What a way to start the 4th! With @schwarzenegger and Pete ... at the original @goldsgym in Venice. #4thofjuly," Jackman wrote on Instagram.

"Fantastic to see you and train together!" Schwarzenegger responded on Twitter.

Arnold wasn't done responding to his celebrity friends on social media after acknowledging his morning session with Jackman. He also answered the #Flex4Forces challenge from massive White House chef and veteran Andre Rush, and showed off his still-formidable biceps."
