Featuring the stunning photoshoot from "Van Helsing" promo as the banner made it even more appealing! Well I am hoping that you all would be loving this layout as much as I did!

Also in other news there are some very promising coverage on the very highly anticipated "Wolverine" movie which just finished filming at both Japan & Australia. Below are some of the reviews and news regarding the movie:

Fox CEO Promises 'The Wolverine' Will Be 'True Berserker and Bad Ass'

"We'll shoot the stage work in Australia and the location work in Japan, and we'll start casting in the next month or so," Rothman went on saying. Since the plot will mainly be set in Japan, Rothman said that "there'll be a lot of local Japanese talent in it."

Asked about where the upcoming "Wolverine" movie will stand on, the CEO revealed, "This is a pretty original take." Hinting that the film will be grittier, he said, "It's based on a very successful run in the comics, but it's a true Wolverine movie, I mean this is the true berserker, bad ass Wolverine."

Hugh Jackman, one of Australia's most-succesful film actors, has been named the New York host of Tropfest, one of our most succesful film festivals.

To be held three weeks after the official Sydney Tropfest in June this year, the New York Tropfest will be a weekend-long event including short film screenings, musical performances, and a filmmaker symposium called “Roughcut,” before the finale event at New York's Bryant Park, where finalists will be screened and judged live by a panel of celebrities and industry experts led by Jackman.

"Knowing that Tropfest has opened doors for brilliant filmmakers, actors and others for the past 20 years, I'm proud to be a part of the festival as it expands its reach to the U.S. and brings its competition to New York,” said Jackman. “As a mecca of the arts, New York is a perfect host for a festival that empowers creative minds to try their hand at filmmaking."

This year mark's Tropfest's 20th birthday, from the night director John Polson (Hide & Seek, Tenderness) showed a six-minute film he made for under $100 at his local café in Sydney, for 200 guests.

Now the annual festival in Sydney receives thousands of submissions and is attended by more than 150,000 people and watched live via satellite by hundreds of thousands more.

“Hugh has been a great supporter of Tropfest and we could not be more delighted to have him on board,” said Polson. “He is one of the greatest talents on stage and screen today and he embodies the type of creativity and passion we hope the competition will inspire.”

For details on how to submit check the Topfest website at: www.tropfest.com/newyork.

Hugh Jackman is currently hard at work on the set of Les Misérables in London, but the Aussie actor will return home for his next project, The Wolverine, after revealing it will shoot in Sydney. He spoke to Channel Nine’s Today this morning to confirm the exciting news, saying, “Sydney is going to be doubling for Japan in a big way.” (The film is set in Japan.) The decision to film in Sydney will create more than 2,000 jobs and generate more than $80 million in production expenditure, NSW Deputy Premier Andrew Stoner said, adding, “It is a testament to our screen industry that Hugh Jackman and his team have chosen to come back to Australia after such a positive experience making the X-Men Origins.” The Wolverine is expected to start shooting later this year and will be released in 2013.

New Candids: Hugh with family + playing with Children Candids!

Posted on 13 Apr 2012 by Admin

Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness played a game of touch football with their son Oscar and a friend in NYC yesterday. Hugh sprinted across the grass while Deborra got in on the action barefoot. Their daughter Ava and dog Mochi, who is one of many star pets we're celebrating for National Pet Day, weren't along for the fun afternoon.

Hugh is back in the Big Apple after spending time on the set of Les Misérables in London, where he got into character as Jean Valjean. His costar Russell Crowe also reported to work, but we haven't seen Anne Hathaway or Amanda Seyfried in front of the cameras yet. Anne is prepping for her role though, since she was spotted with a buzz cut during a date night with fiancé Adam Shulman over the weekend.

New Article: It could be Hugh jackpot!

Posted on 11 Apr 2012 by Admin

The actor has been up to his old tricks – buying Lottery tickets for his workmates. He spent £250 on scratchcards for the crew on the set of the Les Miserables film at the weekend. Hugh, who plays escaped convict Jean Valjean, popped to the local newsagent in Berkshire after rain halted filming.

A source said: “Hugh said he needed to go to the shops then came back with a wad of scratchcards and handed them out to everyone. “It’s a nice gesture. No one won, however – or if they did they’re not saying.”

It’s a tried and tested method for the Aussie. He treated his co-workers to 500 lotto tickets every week while filming movie Real Steel last year. Back then he explained: “It’s my way of paying taxes. The very first film I did in America, I was embarrassed to say two months in that I didn’t know half of the crew’s names.

“So I thought that on a Friday afternoon I’ll whip by and buy Lottery tickets for everyone and hand them out. I say it’s an Australian tradition, but it’s not.”

Magazine Alert: Hugh Jackman Covers GQ Australia April/May 2012!

Posted on 04 Apr 2012 by Admin

Garnering the top spot on The GQ 50 Men of Style and Substance list, Hugh Jackman adorned the cover of the April/May 2012 issue of GQ Australia.

Looking dapper on the Guy Aroch shot front page, the 43-year-old actor was dubbed as 'The Class Act' by the magazine while commenting on deep topics such as the world's inequalities and his passion for Socrates.

Highlights from Mr Jackman's column are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to GQ Australia!

On the inequalities in the world today:
"The natural law us that we should all have equal access, equal opportunity with the planet. But it seems the way that we've divided it up politically or economically, that is not the case."

On his desire to change the world:
"I'm in a very, very amazing position, one of great opportunity and money and resources that I never thought I would have. And I find myself at times in Ethiopia with people who have nothing and it's tough, it's a wrestle."

On a philosophical position that everyone should heed:
"A great philosopher I read a lot is Socrates, and he says, 'It is better to be refuted than to refute.' So if anyone out there is saying, 'Hey, you're full of it.' Sometimes there may be a little truth in that. It might be worth listening to."

Gallery Updates:"Lipton Ice Tea" Commercial Behind The Scene Screencaptures!

Posted on 30 Mar 2012 by Admin
Gallery & Media icon

Hugh Jackman, the actor most famous as the testosterone-fuelled Wolverine in X-Men, is to show his softer side in a global advertising campaign for Lipton Ice Tea.

Jackman, who also played the rugged stockman Drover opposite Nicole Kidman in Baz Luhrmann's Australia, has signed a three-year deal to front a multimillion-pound campaign, the first he has starred in outside his native Australia.

The European marketing director for Lipton Ice Tea, Francois Bazini, said that it was Jackman's singing and dancing performance as a host at last year's Academy Awards that convinced the company to sign him up.

"He has a great personality liked by men and women," said Bazini. "He is very different from many other actors. He is a true entertainer who can dance, sing and act. We will use all of his skills."

Lipton Ice Tea, which is owned by PepsiCo and Unilever, used celebrities in its TV advertising during the 1980s and early 1990s, including Tom Selleck, when he was at the height of his fame from Magnum PI, Sylvester Stallone in Rocky-style ads for the US and the tennis star Jimmy Connors. But the brand has not used a "face", according to Bazini, since 2002, when Eric Cantona fronted a campaign across Europe.

Two Lipton ads featuring Jackman are now being shot in Brazil, for a worldwide launch in March.

They are the work of the agency DDB Paris, and aim to position Lipton as a positive, guilt-free, optimistic drink.

Jackman was quoted as saying: "I'm delighted with my new role as the Lipton Ice Tea ambassador, which is a totally new experience for me, so it's very exciting.

"Lipton Ice Tea is a really positive brand and its values match those that are important in my life, so I can't wait to get started on all our plans."

New Appearance: Opening "Laughing Man" Coffee House in London!

Posted on 26 Mar 2012 by Admin

Today, March 23, Hugh wrote in his Twitter that his coffee shop opened Laughing Man Division in London. In the luxury Harvey Nichols shopping center on the 5th floor will now also sell coffee, Hugh Jackman. Hugh himself was personally present at the opening. He was wearing a hat, beneath which he hid his head shaved, which we have already seen in the photo from the set of "Les Miserables." And still it is a long thick beard.

As one journalist remarked, "I have bought coffee from his store in New York and is to say, if you are a gourmet, you are simply wonderful coffee. It is 100% ethical and organic, and part of the cost goes to charity." Then the man crumbles in compliments to Hugh Jackman as an actor and person.

Gallery Updates: Hugh Jackman "M2" Magazine Scans!

Hello everybody,

I was just browsing around and find these new scans from "M2" magazine that featured Hugh on the cover and it was from November 2011 issue. Hugh was extremely charming and handsome in the scans & cover made all the women out there drooling all over so I have added few scans from the magazine and below are the previews...here are few excerpts from the magazine

What makes Hugh Jackman the ultimate showman? Jackman is a showman. When he took the screen as Wolverine there was little doubt if that this man could carry a movie. However for a man who has made his coin playing the tough guy, Jackman is a stage star.

Project Updates: "Les Miserables" Photos On Location!

Posted on 22 Mar 2012 by Admin

HE may be worth more than $30 million but Hugh Jackman could have easily been mistaken for a penniless beggar yesterday as he was snapped filming on the set of Les Miserables.
Sign up for your free 2 month trial

The normally clean-cut, muscle-bound Wolverine star has completely overhauled his look for filming the blockbuster adaptation in London and Oxfordshire alongside Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried and Russell Crowe.

The former "Sexiest Man Alive" winner, who plays Jean Valjean, a poor man on the run from the police, was dressed in long rags, boots and had prosthetic scars blended into his shaved head while he stomped around a cemetery. It's understood the scruffy-looking beard was "naturally grown" for the part.

The movie adaptation of the hit Victor Hugo-based musical is already generating significant buzz - thanks to its stellar cast.

Earlier this week, Jackman made headlines with insiders revealing the X-Men hunk kept asking to reshoot his fight scenes with Crowe (Inspector Javert), so he could keep punching his lights out.
