Projects Updates: Real Steel New Posters!

Posted on 01 Sep 2011 by Admin

Hello everybody,

Today we have found the new released posters of Real Steel and from the look of the posters, the premise should be promising and Hugh look just charming there in the movie. I pretty much quite anticipated to see the movie because it had ell the ingredients of sure fire success; drama, action, suspense & romance which Hugh was exactly the right choice for the movie!

Hugh Jackman may have to wait a while before playing Wolverine again, but he also has a new movie coming out in October. It is called Real Steel and opens up on the 8th of October. You can see the serious theme in the poster. Hugh plays a former boxer who trains an old robot to fight. He also has to deal with his son, along with this childlike robot that has to be trained.

This movie has been heavily promoted through trailers at theaters. It will be like a hybrid of Transformers and Star Wars. It will be full of action and give Hugh a chance to cash in while they sort out his next project. He certainly could use it while waiting. It should help tie him over until then and maybe even provide him with a living. I am sure that is at least he wants the most out of his work.

Are you planning to see the movie? I am not, just because it is not my kind of thing to attend. I wish his movie success, I am just sick of robot movies and things like that. I would love to see him in something different, but he seems content with these kinds of movies. I have no doubt that it will do well in the theaters nationwide because of his big name and the kind of movie it is.

Gallery Updates: Real Steel Stills + New Candids!

Hello everybody,

It was an ab spectacle on the beach of St. Tropez yesterday when Hugh Jackman stripped off his shirt and jumped in the water with his kids, Ava and Oscar, and wife Deborah-Lee Furness. Their well-timed vacation got the family of four, and their French bulldog, out of NYC just in time to avoid the effects of Hurricane Irene. St. Tropez seems to be one of Hugh and Deborah's favorite getaway destinations; it's their second stop along the South of France in less than a month.

Hugh drew the attention of fans during a sexy stroll along Beach Pampelonne earlier this Summer, and his toned abs are getting your votes in this year's PopSugar shirtless bracket — there's only one day left to fill out your ballot to be entered to win $1,000 from J.Crew! Hugh's next film, Reel Steel, is slated for an October release, though still no word on when we'll see him share the big screen with Jennifer Garner in their unreleased political spoof, Butter.

And also, I have added few photos and some stills from Hugh Jackman most awaited movie for this year "Real Steel" which will be released real soon and I am very much anticipated with the film. Hugh made a promising portrayal in the film and I really looking forward for the films and we'll sure will have a lot more photos coming soon from this movie so head over to the gallery to view the rest and below are the previews..enjoy!

Projects Updates: Hugh Jackman News: ‘Wolverine 2′ & ‘Greatest Showman On Earth’!

Posted on 19 Aug 2011 by Admin

Hugh Jackman isn’t just one of the classier acts around Hollywood (see: his “surprise” appearance at Comic-Con 2011), he’s also one of the busiest.

If all goes according to plan, Jackman will appear in the delayed Wolverine 2 (a.k.a. The Wolverine), followed by a turn in Tom Hooper’s adaptation of the Les Misérables musical – and, some time thereafter, portray famed showman P.T. Barnum in the musical biopic The Greatest Showman On Earth.

Deadline has learned that visual effects supervisor and commercial director Michael Gracey is officially set to helm Greatest Showman for Universal. He’s reportedly been attached to the project for the past few months, but now the deal is set in stone – just two weeks after Gracey also finalized a deal to helm Disney’s Snow White-inspired martial arts epic, The Order of the Seven.

New Projects: Madeleine Stowe Talks About ‘Unbound Captives’ Status!

Hello everybody,

Since a couple of years we have heard about Hugh's involvement with the highly anticipated movie "Unbound Captives" which were directed by actress Madeleine
Stowe. The movie had been shelved for almost 2 years for now and they finally had decided to start rolling next year as what we heard from the director herself during an interview:

Madeleine Stowe talked to MySanAntonio about Unbound Captives:

While at the ranch, Stowe came up with the idea to write “a large romantic Western” that was inspired, she said, by stories of the Hill Country in the late 1800s. “I heard about children who were abducted by Comanche Indians and became so acculturated that they had a hard time returning.

“Our ranch had a real history,” she added. “When I lived there, I felt a certain way about Texas that I hadn’t seen filmed yet.”

She’ll start directing The Unbound Captives next year, she said, and already has rounded up the main cast: Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz and Robert Pattinson.

Rob last talked about the movie with MTV in March

New Candid: Shirtless Hugh at St Tropez Beach!

Posted on 01 Aug 2011 by Admin
Hugh icon

Hello everybody,

Hugh Jackman sets hearts aflutter in St Tropez as he shows off his strapping frame and his wonderful parenting skills. The devoted dad spent the afternoon playing with his two adopted children, Ava, six, and Oscar 11. This allowed his wife of 15 years Deborra-Lee Furness, 56, to take it easy, watching from the shoreline.

Wolverine star Hugh, 42, raced through the gushing waves, frolicking with the youngsters. At one point the action man star appeared to be teaching Ava some of the skills he's picked up in the movies as the pair were seen have a play fight with bamboo sticks. Afterwards Hugh walked the family's French bulldog.

Gallery Updates: Hugh interviewed by CBC Canada Screencaptures!

Posted on 29 Jul 2011 by Admin
Gallery & Media icon

Hello again,

Hugh was recently interviewed by CBC Canada TV where he talks a lot about his very own "personal" song and dance show and it was quite an interviewed and I admit Hugh was really a fun loving person to have in person and he had that the natural aura that charmed people around him. I have added almost 500+ screen captures from Hugh interview and they already online at the gallery so head over to the gallery to view the rest. And below are the previews so enjoy!

In a recent interview with The Canadian Press, Jackman said he wanted Toronto to be the show's second stop because he knew it was a great theatre town, having shot his first American film, 2000's "X-Men," here.

He also admitted that when he started creating the show, he was "a little intimidated" to bring it to Toronto straight away because it was still a work in progress.

At Tuesday's opening, Jackman showed no signs of intimidation, tearing through strenuous sets with apparent ease and panache.

For most of the show he was decked out in a slick dark suit. At one point he whipped off his jacket and rolled up his sleeves as the audience squealed in approval.

New Project: Hugh Jackman In Talks For Tom Hooper’s Les Miserables

Posted on 26 Jul 2011 by Admin
Projects icon

Surprising news is coming to us today from Variety. They’re reporting that actor Hugh Jackman is in talks for Tom Hooper‘s next film, Les Miserables. It’s surprising simply because I never really thought we’d see Wolverine in a musical. But then again, Jackman has done theatre before and he’s performed quite well while on stage. In fact, he’s even won a Tony Award.

Still, I really didn’t see this one coming and he wasn’t at all who I was picturing for the role. Apparently Jackman is up for the part of either protagonist Valjean or antagonist Javert, specifics are not known yet. Both are significant parts though and both would give him a chance to shine as well as flex his vocals.

When it was first announced that Tom Hooper had chosen Les Miserables as his first post-The King’s Speech project, I was pretty happy. The play is fantastic and the music is great. It’s about time we got a proper film adaptation of the classic play and Hooper is an interesting choice to helm it. Now with Jackman’s involvement, things are getting even more interesting. He’s a solid actor and I’m excited to see him show off his singing talents. I’m also quite curious to see who they will get to star opposite him.

What do you think? Do you want to see Hugh Jackman in Les Miserables?
