New Article: Exclusive Hugh Jackman On Channeling Frank Sinatra, And Finding His Own Voice, For A New Tour

When Hugh Jackman takes the stage during his upcoming world tour, he’ll borrow a page from Frank Sinatra’s book.

“I go up as Hugh, then I’ll switch,” Hugh Jackman, 50, explains. “[Sinatra’s] soundchecks were inordinately long. He would sit at a stool at the piano and have the music out. Someone said to him, ‘Frank, I think you know the songs by now.’ He goes: ‘No, no, no. I'm reading the lyrics. I've got to get into the head and the world of that character.’”
